However, in the remaining time, the fans did not get to see any more goals. Spalletti shared his thoughts regarding the problems faced by Italian clubs in adapting to the high tempo in the Champions League.
"Moving the ball quickly makes a big difference, but it's not the only factor. Sometimes you need to break through the opponent’s dense defense, and sometimes it is necessary to finish a counterattack as quickly as possible.
The most important thing is to feel the game. Nowadays everyone knows how to press or defend, but it is very important to understand when and which method is appropriate to use," said the 66-year-old specialist in his interview with Sky Sport.
