Masalitin: Safonov prefers a secondary role at PSG

Former CSKA Moscow player Valeriy Masalitin suggested that Russian national team and PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov might be satisfied with the position of second-choice goalkeeper at the top French club. "PSG competes in the Champions League; last year they also won the tournament.

Perhaps Safonov is satisfied with this situation. If he is unhappy with his status, then he must leave the club," Masalitin said in an interview with "Gazeta.Ru".
