Barcelona defender Eric Garcia broke his nose in the Champions League match against Brugge. After the game, which ended 3-3 on Wednesday, the 24-year-old footballer told journalists in an interview that he might have broken his nose.

Soon after, his assumption was confirmed by an X-ray, journalist Victor Navarro reported. After returning to Barcelona, the footballer was seen wearing a protective mask.

On Sunday, Barcelona will play Celta in round 12 of La Liga. Currently, the Catalans are in second place in the league table, five points behind Real Madrid.
