FIFA has announced the list of footballers nominated for the “Best Footballer of the Year” category for The Best award. Among the nominees for the 2025 award are Ousmane Dembele, Achraf Hakimi, Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe, Nuno Mendes, Cole Palmer, Pedri, Raphinha, Mohamed Salah, Vitinha, and Lamine Yamal.
The list includes a total of 11 footballers, with four players representing PSG and three from Barcelona. Additionally, there is one representative each from Bayern, Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Chelsea.
In 2024, the “The Best” award for “Best Footballer of the Year” went to Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior. It is also worth noting that Ousmane Dembele, who won the Ballon d'Or in September, is also in contention for the FIFA award.
