Barcelona president Joan Laporta has revealed his plans regarding Lionel Messi. According to him, the opening match at the renovated "Camp Nou" stadium should be a game dedicated to Messi.
"This would be a wonderful event — opening 'Camp Nou' with a match in Messi's honor in front of a full stadium. I would be happy to make this happen," said Laporta.
These comments were announced on social media by journalist Fabrizio Romano. As is known, Lionel Messi left "Barcelona" at the end of the 2020/2021 season.
