In the second half, Giovanni Simeone received a forward pass along the right wing from the central line, entered the penalty area, and aimed the ball at the goalkeeper's supporting leg. The ball went into the net, but it was ruled offside.
Che Adams adjusted his position and hit a shot from mid-range towards the right corner, but the goalkeeper deflected it for a corner. Kenan Yildiz crossed from the left into the penalty area, and after a ricochet, Jonathan David shot into the near corner, but the goalkeeper was in position.
After Edon Zhegrova's cross, Weston McKennie took a header from 10 meters out, but the goalkeeper saved it once again. After David's pressing, the goalkeeper hit the ball onto his leg, but the ball went just wide of the goalpost.
The match ended in a 0-0 draw. Under head coach Luciano Spalletti, Juventus dropped points for the first time and is currently in fifth place.
