De Jong: Our Team Is Stronger with Lewandowski

Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong has shared his thoughts on the importance of striker Robert Lewandowski to the team. The start of the season has not been particularly successful for the 37-year-old Polish footballer.

Due to injuries, he missed several matches and temporarily lost his place in the starting lineup. However, Lewandowski recently demonstrated his top-tier goal-scoring abilities once again by recording a hat trick in La Liga against Celta (4–2).

"With Lewandowski, our team is undoubtedly stronger. His return has had a significant impact on the team.

Everyone knows what Robert is capable of, and he has been proving his goal-scoring skills for 15–20 years. He is still considered a top-tier striker," de Jong stated in an interview with Barca Universal.

Robert Lewandowski is currently in second place on the goal-scoring leaderboard in La Liga this season, with 7 goals. He is behind only Kylian Mbappé, who has scored 13 goals.
