At the VI Islamic Solidarity Games, held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, Uzbek athletes once again raised our flag high.
The representative of our country in weightlifting, Akbar Juraev, once again demonstrated his skill and rose to the top. In the 110 kg weight category, he took first place in the snatch with a result of 193 kg. In the clean and jerk, Jo'rayev lifted 227 kg, achieving a total of 420 kg in both events, surpassing all his opponents.
This result earned him another gold medal at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Saudi Arabia. According to the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, this victory further enriched the overall medal collection of the Uzbekistan delegation.
In recent years, Akbar Djuraev has been recognized as one of the most stable and strong weightlifters. His experience in world competitions, discipline, and physical preparedness serve as a true example for young athletes.
At the competition in Riyadh, each of Jo'rayev's performances was watched with great interest by fans. The confidence and strength in his actions amazed everyone.
