Shirer: Voltemade a Problem for Newcastle

Former renowned English footballer Alan Shearer shared his thoughts on Nick Voltemade’s performances for "Newcastle". The expert emphasized that the striker does not fit the playing style of the "Magpies".

"No matter how good he is with the ball, Voltemade creates a problem for 'Newcastle' because he is not very fast, his pressing is ineffective, and he does not actively contribute to attacks," Shearer said in an interview with Betfair. Voltemade joined "Newcastle" this summer from German club "Stuttgart".

The German striker has appeared in 17 matches for the team, scoring 7 goals. After 11 rounds in the Premier League, "Newcastle" sits in 14th place in the standings with 12 points.
