Ancelotti says replacing Kroos and Modric is impossible

Brazil's national team head coach Carlo Ancelotti has shared his thoughts on former players of Real Madrid. The Italian specialist emphasized that it is impossible to find replacements for Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.

"You cannot find players like Kroos and Modric. There are no other such footballers," Ancelotti stated in an interview with Diario AS.

Toni Kroos retired from professional football and left Real Madrid in the summer of 2024. Luka Modric followed a year later, joining AC Milan as a free agent.

The 66-year-old coach himself left the head coaching position at Real Madrid in May 2023. He had managed the Madrid club from 2021, as well as during the 2013-2015 period.
