Manchester United Searching for Two Defensive Midfielders

Manchester United plans to strengthen its midfield by signing two midfielders. The "Red Devils" are reportedly aiming to acquire two players during 2026, although it remains unclear whether one of them will join during the winter transfer window.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, if the management decides to make a midfield signing this winter, the primary candidate is said to be Conor Gallagher from Atletico Madrid. As per Transfermarkt, the 25-year-old English midfielder has a market value of €40 million.

Prior to moving to Spain, Gallagher played for Chelsea in his home country, England. Currently, Manchester United sits in 7th place in the Premier League standings after 11 rounds.
