Luis de la Fuente Responds to Yamal's Remarks

Spain's national team head coach Luis de la Fuente has commented on "Barcelona" winger Lamine Yamal's controversial statements regarding Real Madrid. Ahead of the "El Clasico" match in October, the 18-year-old player accused Real of deceit and constant complaints.

"For me, the concept of respect is non-negotiable. One must be careful with words, as they can sometimes be taken out of context.

It is very easy to offend someone, but that does not always indicate disrespect. I am confident that Lamine had no bad intentions and did not wish to insult anyone," said de la Fuente during a press conference.
