Former Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has denied claims that 20-year-old Arda Güler, who was born in Ankara and currently plays for the "Royal Club," is his successor. According to Kroos, Güler has the potential to grow within the Real Madrid team and deserves the opportunity, but his playing style is different from Kroos'.

"I am happy for him; he has the chance to grow through his playing time. He is a player that the club will need for the future.

However, he is a more attacking player with unique characteristics. For this reason, I cannot call him my successor," said Kroos in an interview with Sport1.
