Former Russian Premier League defender Vitaliy D’yakov has compared Lamin Yamal to Neymar. The expert shared his opinions in an interview with the publication "Evro-Futbol.Ru."
"We can see that Yamal is gradually starting to lose control of himself. He is undertaking unusual actions and increasingly coming to resemble Neymar. Perhaps finishing second in the Ballon d’Or nomination will accelerate this process further.
However, it will be very interesting to track Yamal's future development," said D’yakov. The 18-year-old Spaniard has played in 11 matches for Barcelona this season, scoring 6 goals and providing 6 assists.
Lamin Yamal, who secured second place in the Ballon d’Or award, saw the first-place honor go to Paris Saint-Germain and French national team striker Ousmane Dembélé.
