Real Madrid plans to sign Florian Wirtz

Rumors regarding Liverpool midfielder Florian Wirtz's potential transfer to Real Madrid are intensifying in the media. The "Reds" had signed Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for a fee of 125 million euros.

However, the player has so far struggled to justify the significant transfer sum with his performances. According to Defensa Central, if head coach Arne Slot fails to improve Wirtz's form, Real Madrid may attempt to acquire the player for a lower price next summer.

The source notes that "Los Blancos" do not intend to pay more than 75 million euros for Wirtz, a player well-known to renowned attacking midfielder Xabi Alonso. On the other hand, the Transfermarkt portal values Florian Wirtz at a significantly higher amount – 130 million euros.
