Maldini Lists Contenders for the Scudetto


The former defender of the Italian national team and AC Milan, Paolo Maldini, shared his thoughts on the Italian championship race. He expressed some skepticism about AC Milan's chances.

According to Maldini, even Juventus might be a stronger contender for the Serie A title. "I think the main candidates in the title race are Inter, Napoli, and Juventus," he stated.

"However, if AC Milan can maintain their current pace, they too might participate in the competition," Maldini's comments were quoted by pianetamilan.it. It is worth noting that Juventus last won the Italian championship in 2020.

Meanwhile, Napoli and Inter have secured the title in four of the last five seasons.
