Thiaw: I Didn't Want to Leave AC Milan

The German defender Malik Thiaw has followed in Sandro Tonali's footsteps, deciding to leave Italy and join England's Newcastle club. According to Thiaw, he did not want to leave Italian club Milan but felt the necessity to make changes in his career.
"Milan is a great club, and making this decision was not easy for me. However, I thought it was time to try something new.
When I heard Newcastle's offer, I was pleased with the opportunity," Thiaw said in an interview with pianetamilan.it. Currently, Newcastle is in 14th place in the English Premier League standings.
