Bystrov Evaluates Curaçao Team's World Cup Qualification Prospects

Former midfielder of St. Petersburg's football club "Zenit," Vladimir Bystrov, commented on Curacao national team's coach Dick Advocaat's success. The specialist, known for his experience working with "Blue-White-Sky Blues" and the Russian national team, has led Curacao to qualify for the World Cup for the first time.

"Advocaat is a truly talented coach! Even such a small nation succeeded in selecting the right coach," Bystrov told "Sport-Express."

Advocaat did not participate in the decisive match between Curacao and Jamaica (0:0) due to family issues. The Curacao Football Federation announced that a search for a new coach is underway in case the specialist departs. However, for now, he continues in his role as the team's head coach.

The Curacao national team represents an autonomous state within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, located in the southern Caribbean Sea. Its total area is 444 km², making Curacao the smallest nation to ever take part in the World Cup.
