Atletico Forward Plans to Leave Club in January

Alexander Sørloth, the striker for Madrid's "Atletico" club, is reportedly planning to leave the team during the winter transfer window. The Norwegian player is seeking a move to a club where he can play regularly in the starting lineup in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, according to journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu.

If the "Colchoneros" do not release the 29-year-old forward during the winter, the likelihood of parting ways at the end of the season remains high. According to Transfermarkt, Alexander Sørloth's market value is estimated at 25 million euros.

This season, the striker has appeared in 14 matches for "Atletico," scoring 2 goals. However, he has only started in the team’s starting lineup on 6 occasions.
