Does Akandji See His Future at Inter

Central defender Manuel Akanji is currently playing on loan for Milan’s Inter from Manchester City. According to the agreement, the Nerazzurri have the option to purchase him, although it remains unclear whether they will utilize this option.

"Can I imagine a long-term future with Inter? I hope so.

We’ll see how the season goes, and then we’ll make a decision together with the club. It’s not certain yet, everything depends on the season’s results.

But for now, I feel happy in Milan," said the 30-year-old Swiss footballer in an interview with SportMediaset. Manuel Akanji has appeared in 13 matches across all competitions for Inter under head coach Cristian Chivu.
