Abbyatti Praises Menyan's Performance as a Strong Goalkeeper


Former "Milan" goalkeeper Christian Abbiati shared his thoughts on French shot-stopper Mike Maignan. Maignan has been guarding the "Rossoneri" goal since 2021.

Abbiati praised Maignan's positive qualities, particularly his strong footwork. "We are different from each other.

He moves well with his feet and enjoys playing high. I was not as strong in this aspect, perhaps because we represent different eras of football," Abbiati said in an interview with pianetamilan.it.

It should be noted that Christian Abbiati served at "Milan" primarily as a backup goalkeeper from 1998 to 2016. Currently, "Milan" holds third place in the Italian Serie A standings.
