RB Leipzig defeats Werder Bremen

In the 11th round of the Bundesliga, RB Leipzig hosted Werder Bremen at their home ground. The match featured numerous attempts on goal, but most of them posed no significant threat.

In the 59th minute, Christoph Baumgartner had an opportunity to open the score; however, a defender cleared the ball off the goal line. Shortly thereafter, in the 63rd minute, Assan Ouedraogo struck a precise long-range shot to break the deadlock (1-0).

In the 80th minute, Xaver Schlager's strike left the opposing goalkeeper helpless, making the score 2-0. Following this victory, the "Bulls" rose to second place in the Bundesliga standings.
