Juventus Misses Victory in Florence
The Serie A Week 12 fixture between Fiorentina and Juventus was marked by a closely contested battle. Early in the match, Dušan Vlahović earned a penalty, but a VAR review revealed that the forward himself had committed a foul, leading to the penalty being overturned.

Moise Kean attempted a close-range shot inside the penalty area, but the ball hit the goalpost. Meanwhile, Rolando Mandragora's free-kick narrowly missed the target, going slightly wide of the post.

Vlahović tried to place the ball into the near corner in a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper, but Luca Ranieri successfully blocked his shot. In the 45th minute, Filip Kostić launched an attack down the left flank and delivered a precise long-range strike from 25 meters into the far corner, giving Juventus the lead at 0-1.

In the 48th minute, Kean passed to Mandragora, who scored with a 22-meter shot, equalizing the score at 1-1. Kean attempted another low long-range strike aimed at the left corner, but the goalkeeper made an excellent save to thwart the effort.

Francisco Conceição delivered a low cross from the right wing, which deflected and reached Weston McKennie, whose header hit the goalpost, only for the goalkeeper to make yet another impressive save. Juventus now stands sixth in the Serie A standings, four points behind the leading teams.

Fiorentina, on the other hand, is currently sharing the bottom spot with just six points collected so far.
