Bulyikin: Saponov not playing for PSG is not a problem


Former striker of Moscow’s "Dynamo" club, Dmitriy Bulykin, shared his thoughts on Russian goalkeeper Matvey Saponov’s career at France’s "PSG" club. The goalkeeper has not had any game practice with the Paris club this season.

"Training at PSG will give him more experience compared to other teams. It cannot be compared to the RPL (Russian Premier League).

The fact that he is already here is great! There is no problem at all with him not playing yet," the football expert told Legalbet.

Saponov joined the Paris team in the summer of 2024. The transfer of the 26-year-old Russian cost PSG 20 million euros.

The current contract between Matvey and the French club is valid until the end of June 2029.
