Safonov Needs Regular Playing Time

Former "Zenit" goalkeeper Yevgeny Kornyukhin shared his thoughts on the career of "PSG" young goalkeeper Matvey Safonov. According to Kornyukhin, Safonov lacks regular match practice.
"Matvey needs playing time. That is not happening at 'PSG,' not even at a minimal level.
There is a simple solution: he needs to go out on loan. Even if it’s to a mediocre club, it would be a good decision!" Kornyukhin said in an interview with "Sport Kun Sayin" publication.
In the current season, Safonov has not played a single match. The Parisian team’s head coach Luis Enrique has chosen new player Lucas Chevalier as the primary goalkeeper.
However, last season, Safonov appeared in 17 matches, playing in all victorious games in the French Cup. He also became a winner of the domestic championship and the Champions League.
