Torop Under Consideration for National Team Squad


Vitaliy Kafanov, the goalkeeper coach of the Russian national football team, commented on the possibility of CSKA Moscow goalkeeper Vladislav Torop being called up to the national team. "His candidacy was considered last season as well.

He played a crucial role in leading his team to the final of the cup matches. Today, he is evaluated on the same level as other candidates," Kafanov said in an interview with "Sovetsky Sport."

The 22-year-old goalkeeper has appeared in 12 matches this season, conceding 9 goals and keeping 6 clean sheets.

According to the Transfermarkt portal, his market value is estimated at 1 million euros.
