Defender Sergio Ramos has been playing for the Mexican club Monterrey since February. The 39-year-old footballer’s contract will expire on the last day of December and is unlikely to be extended.
The Goal portal, citing the El Chiringuito program and AS publication, reports that Ramos is planning to return to Europe. This decision is driven by family reasons and his desire to rejoin Spain's national team ahead of the World Cup.
Possible clubs being considered for Sergio Ramos include Italy’s Roma, Germany’s Bayer, and France’s Marseille. In March, Ramos will turn 40.
The Transfermarkt portal values the player at €1 million. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
