Sergey Yuran, the former head coach of Serik Belediyespor, has disclosed details regarding his dismissal from the Turkish club. According to the coach, the decision to terminate his contract was made following a phone call from investor Tufan Sadigov to the club management.
"Sadigov called the general director and said, 'Tell the head coach he has been dismissed.' The general director was astonished and said, 'Sergey, the sponsor has requested that we terminate your contract,'" said Yuran in an interview with Sport-Express.
Yuran added that he had already decided to part ways with the club.
He also noted that the management had treated him amicably and had expressed satisfaction with his performance.
