Szczesny Says 2008 Injury Still Causes Pain in His Hand


Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny has admitted that he still feels pain in his hand due to an injury he sustained in 2008. At the time, he was playing for London's Arsenal club.

As a result of the injury, Szczęsny underwent surgery during which two metal plates were implanted to fuse the bones in his hand. "Sometimes my hand aches and loses sensitivity.

During such times, even holding a simple cup becomes challenging," Szczęsny shared in an interview with derbyderbyderby.it. Currently, the Polish goalkeeper is playing for FC Barcelona.

Previously, he played in Italy for Juventus and AS Roma.
