Ismoilov left the national team
The head coach of Uzbekistan's U-17 national football team has stepped down from his position after the World Championship. This was reported by Upl.uz.

Following the conclusion of the tournament cycle, Islom Ismoilov decided to continue his career in club football. According to insider information, Ismoilov is likely to take over as the head coach of the Fergana-based club "Neftchi."

It is noted that the 34-year-old specialist may replace the current coach Vitaliy Levchenko. It is worth mentioning that Levchenko currently has a contract with the club until the end of 2026.

However, there is a strong possibility that Levchenko may leave the club to manage a team in Kazakhstan or Ukraine. As a reminder, Levchenko led "Neftchi" to a championship title after a 24-year hiatus.

The team will participate in the AFC Champions League Elite stage in the upcoming season.
