The Arsenal and Chelsea derby ends in a draw
The Premier League derby between Chelsea and Arsenal lived up to expectations with a thrilling and intense encounter. Both teams had to shift their focus back to the Premier League after securing victories in the UEFA Champions League against Bayern Munich (3-1) and Barcelona (3-0) respectively.

The first half at Stamford Bridge was marked by tactical battles and physical clashes. No goals were scored in the opening half, but the referee was compelled to show five yellow cards and one red card.

In the 38th minute, Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo was sent off with a red card following a VAR review. Despite being reduced to 10 men, Chelsea opened the scoring early in the second half.

Trevoh Chalobah headed in a well-timed goal from a corner, putting the home side ahead. However, Arsenal responded in the 59th minute as Mikel Merino's header, set up by a cross from Bukayo Saka, found the back of the net.

Both teams opted for a more cautious approach throughout the match, and the game ultimately ended in a 1-1 draw. Following this result, Arsenal remains at the top of the league table with 30 points.

Chelsea, with 24 points, holds the third position, while Manchester City sits in second place with 25 points.
