Barcelona extends Eric García's contract until 2031


Barcelona defender Eric García has signed a long-term new contract with the Catalan club. This was reported by the press service of the "Blaugrana".

The 24-year-old player's new contract with the reigning Spanish La Liga champions is set to last until mid-2031. García has been playing for Barcelona since July 2021.

His transfer value is estimated at 25 million euros. In the current Spanish championship season, the defender has appeared in 15 matches and scored one goal.

After 15 rounds, Hans-Dieter Flick's Barcelona leads the league table with 37 points.
