Safonov Could Make His PSG Debut

PSG goalkeeper Matvei Safonov has not played a single match during the 2025/2026 season yet. The Parisians' main goalkeeper, Lucas Chevalier, has faced health issues, and Safonov is expected to take the field in the Ligue 1 match against Rennes on Saturday.

Safonov shared several training photos on his Telegram channel and announced that the team conducted theoretical training in the morning: "Winter has already arrived, and along with it, colder days are approaching. The weather isn’t freezing yet, but I’m going to training wearing a hat (hello, mom!).

However, tomorrow at the stadium, despite the weather, everything will be intense. In the evening, we’ll be waiting for you in the stands or in front of the screens!", wrote Safonov.
