Julián Álvarez's Transfer to Barcelona Unlikely

The transfer of Julian Alvarez from Atletico to Barcelona is almost impossible, according to Spain's Sport publication.

Experts have outlined several reasons for this, one of them being financial matters.

Julian Alvarez's contract includes a €500 million release clause, and Atletico is unwilling to sell the Argentine forward for less than €200 million. Barcelona is not prepared to pay such a hefty sum.

Additionally, it was mentioned that the Catalan side was not particularly impressed by the performance of the 25-year-old Alvarez in their previous encounter. The team is looking for a more industrious and productive striker as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
