Reason behind Salah's suspension revealed

Mohamed Salah has been excluded from Liverpool's squad for the away match against Inter in the Champions League. The English club has decided not to take the Egyptian player to Italy.

This decision follows a controversial interview given by Salah, where he expressed dissatisfaction about losing his place in the starting lineup and criticized head coach Arne Slot and the club.

According to a social media post by renowned journalist Ben Jacobs, the decision to exclude the 33-year-old Salah from the squad was made by Liverpool's sporting director Richard Hughes. Hughes reportedly discussed the matter with head coach Slot before arriving at the conclusion.

Salah did not participate in any discussions regarding this decision. Inter and Liverpool will face off on Tuesday, December 9, in the fifth round of the Champions League group stage.
