Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal expressed dissatisfaction with the refereeing during the match against Celta Vigo. The "Royal Club" suffered a 2-0 defeat at home.
In the second half of the match, Xabi Alonso's team lost two players: Fran García was sent off in the 64th minute, followed by Álvaro Carreras in the 92nd minute. Carvajal, who was unable to play due to injury and watched the match from the sidelines, voiced his sharp criticism of the referee: "First, you set such refereeing standards, and then you go to press conferences and cry," the 33-year-old player said to the referee at the end of the game.
These comments were reported by The Touchline, based on the referee's official report. Real Madrid is currently four points behind league leaders Barcelona in the La Liga standings.
