Unai Emery Discusses Harvey Elliott's Future

Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery has shared his thoughts on the future of midfielder Harvey Elliott. The Liverpool player is currently on loan at the Birmingham-based club but has had few opportunities to feature on the pitch.

"I hope we can find a solution that allows him to gain consistent playing time. He is on loan at the moment, but that does not necessarily mean we will sign him permanently," Emery said.

The 22-year-old midfielder has appeared in seven matches across all competitions for Aston Villa, scoring once. Elliott's current contract with Liverpool is effective until the summer of 2027.
