
The "Qo‘qon-1912" football club is preparing for the new season with significant ambitions. According to the team’s press service, Andrey Shipilov has been appointed as the head coach of the club. Earlier, it was reported that Bahrom Haydarov had departed from the team.
Shipilov is recognized as a specialist who has worked successfully with leading teams such as "Pakhtakor," "Metallurg," and "Dinamo." Together with "Pakhtakor," he became the Uzbekistan champion and Cup winner. Additionally, during his tenure with "Metallurg" in the 2018-2019 seasons, they achieved 5th place in the Super League, marking the best result in the club's history.
Andrey Shipilov’s extensive coaching experience and proven achievements are expected to play an essential role in helping the team reach new goals. Committed to achieving new objectives in 2026 under their new coach, the "Qo‘qon-1912" club aspires to earn great success under Shipilov's leadership.
Looking at Andrey Shipilov’s coaching career, he served as an assistant coach at "Pakhtakor" from 2007 to 2017 and worked with the Uzbekistan national team during this period. Following that, he also performed successfully at "Metallurg" and "Dinamo" clubs.
