Real Madrid Gives Xabi Alonso Three-Match Suspension

Xabi Alonso is continuing his role as head coach of Real Madrid, despite the team’s 1–2 defeat to Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League. Some of the team’s players have openly expressed their support for the coach.

According to the BBC, Alonso will continue preparing the team for their next match against Alaves. However, if Real Madrid suffers a third consecutive defeat, Alonso may lose his position.

Meanwhile, reports in the media suggest that Real Madrid has given Xabi Alonso three games to improve the situation. Currently, Real Madrid is in second place in the La Liga standings, trailing Barcelona by four points.
