Guberniev Comments on Zabarniy and Safonov

Commentator and showman Dmitry Guberniev shared his thoughts on Ukrainian Ilya Zabarnyi and Russian Matvei Safonov playing together for the PSG club. "There is no need to create artificial barriers.

Ordinary people always find ways to get along. They don’t need to baptize children together.

What matters is that they are demonstrating their professionalism and playing on the same team. Whether they are friends or not is irrelevant," Guberniev said in an interview with "Sport-Express".

Last Wednesday, PSG played an away match against Athletic in the sixth round of the Champions League group stage. In this match, Safonov and Zabarnyi took to the field together.

The match ended in a 0-0 draw, with Safonov managing to keep a clean sheet for his team. Zabarnyi is playing his first season at PSG after transferring from Bournemouth, while Safonov is in his second season with the Parisian club.
