Emiliano Martinez Praises Spain National Team

Argentina national team goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez shared his thoughts on the upcoming match against Spain in March as part of the Finalissima tournament. In his interview, he emphasized that Spain is one of the main contenders for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

"I really want to play in the Finalissima. Spain is one of the strongest national teams in the world and will be one of our main competitors in the 2026 World Cup.

This will be a serious test and good preparation for us. In the end, there's a gold medal at stake for this game.

Our victory in the previous Finalissima against Italy gave us momentum for our success at the 2022 World Cup. We hope to replicate that experience," said the Aston Villa goalkeeper in an interview with journalist Cristian Martin.

Argentina and Spain, as the champions of South America and Europe respectively, will participate in this tournament. The 2026 FIFA World Cup is set to begin on June 11 and conclude on July 19.
