Renowned Russian boxer Artur Beterbiev has compared leading MMA fighters Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev, sharing his thoughts about each of them. According to him, the achievements of both athletes in their respective fields highlight the differences between them.
"Who is better – Khabib or Islam? Let’s focus on their accomplishments. Makhachev has been a champion in two divisions. For this reason, I might choose him. However, we must not forget that Khabib retired undefeated," Beterbiev said.
In an interview with the "Bloody Elbow" YouTube channel, Artur Beterbiev emphasized that Makhachev could become the UFC welterweight champion by defeating Australian Jack Della Maddalena. In his opinion, each athlete has achieved significant success in their respective paths, carving their own routes in their domains.
