Lyon Secures Narrow Victory Over Le Havre in Ligue 1

In the 16th round of Ligue 1, Lyon defeated Le Havre 1–0 at their home ground. The eventful match surprisingly ended with a low score.

In the 3rd minute of the game, Corentin Tolisso sent a forward pass to Martin Satriano, who headed the ball, hitting the crossbar. In the 37th minute, after a corner kick, referee awarded a penalty as Tyler Morton held back an opponent with his hand.

Issa Soumaré took the penalty but the goalkeeper saved the shot. Shortly after, Tolisso attempted a free kick from the penalty area, but the ball missed the target.

At the beginning of the second half, Tolisso had another opportunity, but his header was saved by the goalkeeper. In the 52nd minute, Afonso Moreira delivered a precise cross into the penalty area, and Pavel Šulc headed the ball from close range to open the scoring.

With this victory, Lyon climbed to 5th place in the standings, while Le Havre remained in the lower section, falling from 4th place to the very bottom of the table.
