The Spanish specialist emphasized that playing at Crystal Palace's home ground is never easy. According to him, the opposition is particularly dangerous in counterattacks, especially after losing possession. Nonetheless, the "Cityzens" displayed patience and adhered to their game plan without deviation.

However, overall, I am very satisfied with the team’s performance and the achieved victory. This result will further strengthen the players' morale, — said Guardiola.
The head coach also specifically commented on Erling Haaland's performance. In Guardiola’s view, the Norwegian striker not only fulfilled his role of scoring goals but also played an essential part in the team’s collective game.
— We always expect goals from Haaland; it’s his main task. But in the second half, he held onto the ball brilliantly, controlled the pace of the game, and greatly assisted the team in organizing compact play. In the second half, he truly played at a top level, — highlighted the coach.
