The second finalist of the Arab Cup, taking place in Qatar, has been decided. In the semifinal stage of the tournament, the Jordanian national team defeated Saudi Arabia by a narrow margin to secure their spot in the decisive match.
The match was intense and fiercely contested. Despite both teams displaying cautious play, Jordan utilized their opportunity effectively in the second half. A goal by Ar Rashdan in the 66th minute decided the outcome of the game. Saudi Arabia attempted to equalize in the final minutes but did not succeed. Additionally, during stoppage time, Saudi Arabia's Walid Ahmad received a red card, leaving his team in a difficult situation.
With this victory, Jordan marked another significant achievement in their history, securing their place in the Arab Cup final. On December 18, they will face Morocco in the decisive match at Lusail Stadium. In the first semifinal, Morocco defeated the UAE convincingly to reach the final.
Saudi Arabia, however, retains the chance to finish the tournament with a medal. They will compete against the United Arab Emirates on December 18 in the third-place match.
Interestingly, the head coach of the Jordanian national team is of Moroccan origin, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the final and making the encounter even more captivating.
