The Finalissima match between the national teams of Spain and Argentina will take place in March 2026. This date was confirmed by Rafael Lusan, President of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
Earlier, reports suggested that the game might be held on March 27, 2026, in Qatar. In his comments to the publication El Chiringuito, Lusan stated that the matter regarding Finalissima will be finalized in March, that discussions with UEFA are nearing completion, and official confirmation is now being awaited.
Finalissima is considered a unique Super Cup for national teams. It features the reigning European Champion and the Copa América winner.
Currently, these titles belong to Spain and Argentina, respectively. The Argentina national team is also the reigning world champion at the moment.
