In a match within the framework of the 15th round of the Italian Championship, Rome's “Roma” defeated “Como” 1-0 on their home ground. In the first half of the game, the “Wolves” focused their attacks on the left flank.
Matias Sule, instead of taking a shot in the penalty area, passed the ball back and to the right, and Wesley Fofana struck with one touch but sent the ball over the crossbar. Later, after a left-flank cross from Lorenzo Pellegrini, Kouadio Koné directed the ball to the right, Evan Ferguson's shot was blocked by a defender, and the ball went out of play.
Early in the second half, a ball delivered by Pellegrini was headed by Sule, hitting the right post. Although Bryan Cristante placed the rebound into the net, the goal was disallowed as offside had been flagged in the earlier phase of the attack.
In the 61st minute, “Roma” completed a well-structured attack with a goal: Sule passed from the edge of the penalty area to the right flank, and Fofana accurately struck the far corner to open the score — 1-0. Following this victory, “Roma” remained in 4th place in the league standings and is three points behind the leader.
