Igor Kolyvanov Highlights Xabi Alonso's Challenges at Real Madrid

Igor Kolyvanov, a former forward and head coach of several Russian clubs, stated that Real Madrid's head coach Xabi Alonso is on the brink of dismissal. According to Kolyvanov, Alonso is a remarkably mature and wise coach for his age, but the job at Real Madrid is unique—it demands consistent results.

Speaking on "Match TV," Kolyvanov said, "If there are no results, it doesn’t matter who you are, you will be dismissed. Xabi is walking on a knife’s edge," he said.

He also highlighted that despite having many star players, Real Madrid's biggest current problem is the absence of a clear leader on the field. In Alonso's most recent match in charge, Real Madrid secured a 2-1 away victory against Alaves.
