Lewandowski Chooses Barcelona Trio for The Best Award

Poland national team captain Robert Lewandowski supported his club teammates during the voting for FIFA's annual award, The Best. This award is presented to the best football player of the year, with the voting process involving national team captains and head coaches.

Lewandowski's top three picks were entirely made up of Barcelona players. The 37-year-old striker placed Lamin Yamal in first position, Rafinha Dias in second, and completed the top three with Pedri.

Ultimately, the award was won by Paris Saint-Germain and France national team player Ousmane Dembélé. A few months earlier, he had also claimed the Ballon d'Or.
