The wife of Brazil national team and Barcelona forward Raphinha, Natália Belloli, openly expressed her dissatisfaction on social media after FIFA announced the symbolic team of 2025. According to her, such a decision equates to disregarding the footballer’s hard work.
Belloli posted a sarcastic comment on Instagram addressing the matter.
"Do you think Raphinha is playing basketball? Is he not worthy of being in the year's best team? They don't even try to hide it anymore," she wrote. This statement quickly sparked widespread discussion among fans.
This reaction is not unfounded. The previous season was one of the most fruitful in Raphinha's career. The Brazilian forward appeared in 57 matches across all competitions for Barcelona, scoring 34 goals and providing 26 assists. These achievements made him one of the key players for the team.
In particular, Raphinha's performance in the UEFA Champions League received notable recognition. He emerged as the tournament's top scorer with 13 goals and also earned the title of best assist provider with 8 assists. Despite such impressive results, his exclusion from the symbolic team puzzled many fans.
Alongside Barcelona, Raphinha secured the Spanish League title, the national Cup, and the Super Cup, wrapping up the season almost perfectly. For this reason, many football fans on social media are supporting Belloli’s opinion.
